I am currently pursuing a PhD in the Rowntree Lab at the University of Plymouth, focusing on mangrove ecology and linking it with genetic diversity. My research investigates how restoration and planting projects can influence the population genetic structure and diversity, aiming to enhance the effectiveness of conservation strategies and long-term survival.

In addition to my research, I am a Teaching Assistant within the School of Biological and Marine Sciences, where I teach undergraduate courses. I am also involved in outreach projects within the school.

Before starting my PhD, I worked with the Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust, where I engaged with community groups to encourage participation in nature activities. My work there also involved contributing to seabird conservation projects.
